Bully Breed Free Fix Thursdays, July 12th and July 26th

No More Homeless Pets in Utah is sending a veterinarian to our shelter and offering free sterilizations for bully breed dogs! These sterilizations are by appointment only, so please contact our Pit Crew Coordinator today to reserve your spot. This service is open to all bully breed dogs owned by residents of Unincorporated Salt Lake County, Herriman, Holladay, Midvale, and Salt Lake City for free. Residents of other areas can also take advantage of this program and have their bully breed dogs sterilized for only $20! Don't hesitate and miss this great opportunity.

Do you and your dog have a best trick or a marathon stay? If so, pre-register and come and play!

Utah FACES is pleased to announce the second annual Doggie Olympics to be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Big Cottonwood Regional Park located at 4300 South and 1300 East. 

The purpose of the Doggie Olympics is to provide a fun and interactive event with dogs and their people, bring awareness to Salt Lake County Animal Services and provide a fundraiser for Utah Faces - a non-profit, volunteer run organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless animals in the Salt Lake Valley. 

The doggie Olympics will include ten events and one overall best in show. Games this year include:

* Bobbing for Hot Dogs  * Temptation Tower * Best Trick
* Humpty Dumpty * I've Got Rhythm Musical Sit * Marathon Down
* Obedience Baseball * Best Recall in the West * Ball Lottery
* Over - Under - Through

Pit Crew Adoption Event Saturday, July 28th

The SLCO Pit Crew will be at The Taylorsville Petsmart on Saturday July 28th from 11-4 pm. We will have our wonderful shelter dogs as well as our foster dogs and their foster parents at the event.

These adorable dogs will all be hoping to find their forever homes. Please join us for the adoption event and tell your friends. We cannot wait to see you.
